HAF007). A specific band was detected for Integrin aL/CD11a at approximately 150 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1." class="big_lightbox" target="_blank">
VC001). Before incubation with the primary antibody, tissue was subjected to heat-induced epitope retrieval using VisUCyte Antigen Retrieval Reagent-Basic (Catalog # VCTS021). Tissue was stained using DAB (brown) and counterstained with hematoxylin (blue). Specific staining was localized to lymphocytes. CD11a is a member of the integrin family of cell adhesion molecules. It is a glycoprotein expressed in combination with the CD18 beta chain. CD11a is a member of the beta 2 integrin family. These molecules function in cell adhesion and specifically bind to CD54, ICAM2, ICAM3. CD11a is expressed on thymocytes, T and B lymphocytes, granulocytes, monocytes, and macrophages.
