Background

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a gram-negative, opportunistic pathogen, commonly found in soil and water. In humans, P. aeruginosa can infect the urinary tract, respiratory and gastrointestinal system, soft tissues, bones and joints leading to severe systemic infections of immunosuppressed patients in hospital.

   • I would recommend NB110-40711 and NB110-17299, as they were both raised against an outer membrane preparation of Pseudomonas Aeruginosa.
2. Do you have data to show that the pseudomonas antibody B11 is specific for Pseudomonas? Do you have data to show that it does not also bind to E.coli?
   • This antibody shows minimal cross-reactivity with S. aureus but hasn't been tested for cross-reactivity to E. coli.
3. Which surface protein was used to immunize this antibody?
