Description
The ubiquitin-dependent protein degradation pathway is essential for the proteolysis of intracellular proteins and peptides. Deubiquitination, is catalyzed by proteases called deubiquitinating enzymes. USP31 (Ubiquitin specific peptidase 31) may be involved in the processing of ubiquinated proteins and poly-ubiquitin precursors.
