Description

NDST3 (N-deacetylase/N-sulfotransferase (heparan glucosaminyl) 3) is an essential monomeric enzyme with 2 catalytic activities. It catalyzes both the N-deacetylation and the N-sulfation of N-acetylglucosamine residues (GlcNAc) in heparan sulfate and heparin. NDST3 has high deacetylase activity but low sulfotransferase activity.
