LST1 Products

Description

LST1, also known as Leukocyte-specific transcript 1 protein, has 10 isoforms ranging from a 13 amino acid isoform that is 1 kDa to a 97 amino acid isoform that is 11 kDa, can inhibit the proliferation of lymphocytes, induces morphological changes including production of filopodia and microspikes when overexpressed in a variety of cell types and may participate in dendritic cell maturation. Disease research is currently being performed with relation to LST1 and vulvovaginitis, rhinotracheitis, chronic venous leg ulcers, proliferative vitreoretinopathy, systemic lupus erythematosus, vitreoretinopathy, rubella, lupus erythematosus, tonsillitis, diabetes mellitus, lung cancer, and Graves' disease. Interactions with this protein have been shown to involve G2E3, PRKCB and CACTIN in cell morphogenesis, immune response, regulation of cell shape, anatomical structure morphogenesis, and dendrite development pathways.
