Sarcosine oxidase Antibody - BSA Free

Western Blot: Sarcosine oxidase Antibody [NB600-649] - Detection of Sarcosine Oxidase. Samples of 1 and 0.25 ug of purified Sarcosine Oxidase per lane were run by SDS-PAGE under reducing and non-reducing conditions and reduced samples contained 4% BME and were boiled for 5 minutes. Protein was transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with Goat anti Sarcosine Oxidase. Primary antibody was detected with Dylight 649 conjugated Donkey anti Goat 1:10K 1.5 hr RT in and imaged on the VersaDoc imaging system.

Primary antibody: Goat anti-Sarcosine Oxidase (Microbial) Antibody Biotin Conjugated at 1:1,000 overnight at 4C. Secondary antibody: HRP streptavidin secondary antibody at 1:40,000 for 30 min at RT. Block: incubated with blocking buffer for 30 min at RT. Predicted/Observed size: 45 kDa, 45 kDa for Sarcosine Oxidase monomeric alpha subunit.

• Application Notes: This product has been tested by dot blot and western blot and is suitable for ELISA assay against 1.0 ug of Sarcosine Oxidase [Microbial] in a standard ELISA using Peroxidase conjugated Affinity Purified anti-Goat IgG [H&L] (Rabbit) and (ABTS (2,2'-azino-bis-[3-ethylbenthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid]) as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:3,000 to 1:12,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product.

Background

Sarcosine Oxidase catalyzes the oxidative demethylation of sarcosine. It can also oxidize other secondary amino acids such as N methyl L alanine, L pipecolic acid and L proline.
