| Immunogen | Rat spleen cell homogenate |
| Specificity | NB100-64723 recognizes reticular elements in the T cell areas and B cell follicles of spleen, lymph nodes, Peyers patches, bronchus and gut associated lymphoid tissues (BALT and GALT). In the thymus a reticular pattern is observed throughout the cortex capsule, the medulla is negative. In non-lymphoid organs positivity is seen only in reticular elements of the small intestine. No staining of liver, lung, skin, kidney, brain, pancreas or heart is seen. Biochemical analysis has revealed that ED11 recognizes complement factor C3. in vivo studies have shown that ED11 blocks immune complex trapping on follicular dendritic cells. |
