Background

Flagellin arranges itself in a hollow cylinder to form the filament in bacterial flagellum. It is the principal substituent of bacterial flagellum, and is present in large amounts on nearly all flagellated bacteria. Mammals often have acquired immune responses (Tcell and antibody responses) to flagellated bacterium and the plant defense mechanisms can be activated by the conserved Nterminal part of flagellin.

Limitations

This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Peptides and proteins are guaranteed for 3 months from date of receipt.
