Description
RFT1, also known as Protein RFT1 homolog, is a 60kDa 541 amino acid protein found in the membrane. RFT1 is believed to play a role in N-linked oligosaccharide assembly. Research is being conducted on RFT1 in relationship to congenital disorder of glycosylation and hypotonia. RFT1 has been linked to the asparagine N-linked glycosylation, metabolism of proteins and post-translational protein modification pathways where it interacts with IDI1, PSMA6, ACTB, UBC and GTF2B.
