MRPS36, also known as Mitochondrial Ribosomal Protein S36, consists of a 103 amino acid isoform that is 11 kDa, and is involved in the synthesis of proteins within the mitochondria. There is no current research being conducted on the relationship between MRPS36 and any diseases or disorders. MRPS36 has been linked to the process of translation, and has been found to interact with UBC and MRPL42.
