LRRN2, also known as Leucine-rich repeat neuronal protein 2, is a 78.9 kDa, 713 amino acid protein that is involved in signal transduction reception and cell adhesion as a member of the leucine-rich repeat superfamily. Current research is studying the effects of the protein on diseases and disorders such as neuronitis and malignant glioma. The protein interacts in signal transduction pathways with other proteins including NEUROD4 and VCL.
