Description

FOXD3 (Forkhead box D3) belongs to the forkhead family of transcription factors which is characterized by a distinct forkhead domain. The human FOX gene family consists of at least 43 members, and deregulation of FOX family genes can lead to congenital disorders, diabetes mellitus, or carcinogenesis. FOXD3 is also known as HFH2. Human FOXD3 is a 48kDa protein.
