DDX50, also known as ATP-dependent RNA helicase DDX50, is an 82.6 kDa 737 amino acid protein and is involved in cellular growth and division as a member of the DEAD box protein family. The protein is being studied for involvement in malaria. While involved in ATP and RNA binding pathways, the protein interacts with other proteins such as MED19, SRRM2, UBC, ESR2, and STAU1.
