Description

CD153, also known as (CD30 ligand), is a 40KD type II transmembrane protein belonging to the TNF superfamily. In mouse CD153 is expressed primarily on activated CD4+ve T cells. The interaction of CD153 with its ligand CD30 is reported to enhance the proliferation of anti CD3/CD28 costimulated T cells.
