Description
ADP-ribosylation factor GTPase activating protein 2 (ArfGAP2) is a GTPase activating protein that interacts with the GTPase ADP-ribosylation factor (Arf) in Golgi membranes and vesicles. Although they are differentially regulated, ArfGAP2 along with ArfGAP1 and ArfGAP3 has been shown to play an overlapping role in COPI-mediated transport and in the maintenance of Golgi organization. ArfGAP2 is also known as zinc finger protein 289 or ZNF289.
