If you are a California resident, you may make the following requests:
You have the right not to be unlawfully discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

We may need to request additional Personal Information from you, such as mailing address, telephone number and/or email address, in order to verify your identity and protect against fraudulent requests. Authorized Agents
If an agent would like to make a request on your behalf as permitted by applicable law, the agent may use the submission methods noted in the section entitled “CCPA Rights and Requests.” As part of our verification process, we may request that the agent provide, as applicable, proof concerning their status as an authorized agent. In addition, we may require that you verify your identity as described in the section entitled “CCPA Rights and Requests” or confirm that you provided the agent permission to submit the request.
CALIFORNIA NOTICE OF FINANCIAL INCENTIVE
The California Consumer Privacy Act’s (the “CCPA”) implementing regulations define a “financial incentive” as a program, benefit, or other offering “for the collection, retention, sale, or sharing of personal information.” Bio-Techne Corp. offers customers the opportunity to participate in its Product Review Program (the “Review Program”), which may provide benefits such as gift cards to those who choose to submit reviews (the “reviewers”). Those benefits are described along with other material terms and conditions here.
Our collection of reviewers’ personal information (including name, email address, and other personal information as described in the “Personal Information” section of our Privacy Policy) allows Bio-Techne to operate the Review Program and provide benefits. Bio-Techne uses reviewers’ personal information to award and redeem Review Program benefits. Otherwise, the types of personal information that Bio-Techne collects from reviewers are generally similar to the types of personal information that Bio-Techne collects from individuals who are not reviewers. The amount of personal information that Bio-Techne collects from a reviewer or non-reviewer may vary and depends on the interactions that the reviewer or non-reviewer has with Bio-Techne.
Bio-Techne seeks to ensure that both reviewers and non-reviewers have a positive and rewarding experience when earning benefits with Bio-Techne. For this reason, Bio-Techne may collect information from both reviewers and non-reviewers related to their personal preferences in order to provide personalized services, as described in the “Personal Information” section of the Privacy Policy.
Bio-Techne “shares,” as the term is defined under the CCPA, personal information of both reviewers and non-reviewers to third parties to personalize online advertising content, as described in the Bio-Techne Privacy Policy.
We estimate the value of a reviewer’s personal information to the Review Program, solely for purposes of the CCPA and pursuant to the valuation options mandated by the CCPA regulations, to be reasonably related to the value of the benefits that reviewers obtain through participating in the Review Program. Bio-Techne bases this good faith estimate on: the value that arises from Bio-Techne’s commercial relationships, such as with business partners, vendors, and customers; the costs and expenses Bio-Techne incurs in offering benefits to reviewers; and the types of benefits provided. The value of Review Program benefits to reviewers varies significantly because individual reviewers take advantage of Review Program benefits in different ways and to varying degrees.
You may join the Review Program through the Bio-Techne website.
Reviewers who are California residents may exercise their CCPA rights, including the rights to know, correct, and opt out of the “sharing” of personal information, without any impact on their eligibility to receive benefits, and reviewers who exercise their privacy rights receive the same benefits as reviewers who do not. If a reviewer exercises their deletion right by choosing to delete their personal information, then Bio-Techne will no longer be able to contact them in order to provide them with the Review Program benefits once Bio-Techne has honored their deletion request.
You may opt out of the Review Program at any time by notifying Bio-Techne at: privacy@bio-techne.com.
