Application Notes | Streptvidin-PE has been tested by flow cytometric analysis to detect biotinylated primary antibodies. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.06 ug per test; a test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically, but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performatnce in the assay fo interest. The streptavidin fluorochrome conjugates are commonly used in the indirect staining protocols to detect biotinylated primary antibodies in flowcytometry. |
Theoretical MW | 292.8 kDa. Disclaimer note: The observed molecular weight of the protein may vary from the listed predicted molecular weight due to post translational modifications, post translation cleavages, relative charges, and other experimental factors. |
