Description | Human adult and fetal normal high throughput tissue array (TeHFAN) is designed for rapidly screening genes or proteins of interest in extensive panels of different types of tissues. There are 30 different tissues arrayed in duplicates on a single positively charged glass slide. Each array contains human adult placenta tissue as a positive control and a paraffin blank as a negative control. paraffin blocks that are assembled in array fashion to allow multiplex histological analysis. TMAs provide a valuable tool for analysis of protein, RNA, or DNA molecules in oncology, both the malignant and metastatic markers. TMAs can also be constructed with tissues from other diseases and species. Tissue arrays are 4 - 6 um in thickness, and mounted on positively charged glass slides. Each tissue sample is about 1.5 mm in diameter Please contact nb-technical@bio-techne.com for a lot specific reference chart showing all the tissue names and their respective position on the array. Samples are IRB-approved from consented donors. Documentation on tissues' clinical histories and donor information may also be available upon request. |
