Myeloid Cell Marker Antibody (BM-2) [HRP] Summary

Immunogen
Nuclei from pokeweed mitogen stimulated human peripheral blood lymphocytes were used as the immunogen for this granulocyte antibody.
Localization
Cytoplasmic
Specificity
Recognizes an unidentified antigen in the cytoplasm of mature granulocytes. It shows no reactivity with any other cell type in human tissues. Markers of myeloid cells are useful in the identification of different levels of cellular differentiation. MAb BM-2 reacts with early precursor and mature forms of human myeloid cells. This MAb is useful for the detection of myeloid leukemias and granulocytic sarcomas. It can be used as a marker of granulocytes in normal tissues or inflammatory processes.

FAQs for Granulocytes Antibody (NBP2-33114H). (Showing 1 - 2 of 2 FAQ).

  1. May we ask of what application this antibody is sufficient for 100 tests?
    • For our product NBP2-33114H, the test size notation is listed with regard to the flow cytometry application.
  2. Since this antibody is conjugated with HRP, can it be used for detection in ELISA?
    • The unconjugated version of this antibody (NBP2-33114) has been validated for use in ELISA as a coating antibody. We have not yet tested the directly conjugated antibody as a detection antibody for ELISA, but I suspect that it should work as the antibody is capable of detection of the native protein. For coating, we recommend using the antibody at a dilution of 1-5ug/ml. If you wanted to try this antibody in ELISA for detection, you may want to start with a dilution between this range and adjust as necessary from there. In previous lots, the HRP conjugated antibody was provided at a concentration of 1.0mg/ml (100ug).
