FAQs for Lipid A Antibody (NB600-1505). (Showing 1 - 2 of 2 FAQ).

  1. I am wondering how the whole cell prep is done. Whole cells prep of Lipid A from E. coli O157. (Catalog Number NB600-1505)
    • I am sorry to inform you that the information regarding the whole cell prep of our Lipid A antibody NB600-1505 is proprietary.
  2. May I request confirmation that NB600-1505 will bind only to the lipid portion of LPS and will not bind to the oligosaccharide chain? We are looking for an antibody that does not react with the O-chain.
    • Unfortunately, NB600-1505 reacts with the Lipid A portion of LPS, and therefore, it should react with all E. coli including O157 strains due to the presence of Lipid A in the LPS of all strains. Unfortunately, we can only assume but have not yet confirmed whether or not this reacts with the O-chain. I apologize for any inconvenience.
