Immunogen | Highly purified immunoglobulin fractions containing IgG, IgA and IgM isolated from monkey serum. Freund's complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure. |
Specificity | The defined antibody specificity is directed to the major isotypes of the monkey immunoglobulin system, including antibody to common determinants and to class specific determinants as tested against as tested in immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony). In immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion using various antiserum concentrations against normal monkey plasma and serum, the characteristic IgG, IgA and IgM precipitin lines are obtained. |
