Background

SUBCELLULAR LOCATION: Nucleus. Cytoplasm. Note: Shuttles between the cytoplasm and the nucleus. Predominantly nuclear. TISSUE SPECIFICITY: Expressed in the central nervous system. Expressed in Schwann cells from newborn sciatic nerve. DEVELOPMENTAL STAGE: Oscillates during the cell cycle, being lowest at G1 and highest at S phase (at protein level). SUBUNIT: Interacts with LMO2, possibly leading to regulate the transcriptional activity of a DNA-binding complex containing LMO2. Interacts with OMP.
