• Suitable for use in solid-phase assays, tissue/cell staining systems, and blotting applications.
• Specific covalent linkages are chosen to provide stable, highly active conjugates.
• One unit is 1 µmole p-nitrophenylphosphate hydrolyzed per min. at 37 °C, pH 9.8.
• Preparation Method: Reconstitute with 1 mL water. The resulting solution will have the following composition: 10 mM HEPES, 0.15 M NaCl, 0.08% sodium azide, 1 mM Mg++, 0.1 mM Zn++, pH 7.5. This product has been stabilized by addition of Ficoll and IHC-grade BSA.

• Application Notes: To avoid adsorption or denaturing of the enzyme conjugate, dilutions may be made in 20 mM HEPES, 0.5 M NaCl, pH 7.5, containing 0.1 mg/mL IHC- grade BSA. DO NOT USE FRACTION V GRADE BSA. One unit equals 1.0 micromole of p-nitrophenol liberated from p-nitrophenylphosphate per minute at 37C (pH 9.5).
  
  Recommended concentration for use is 0.2 units/mL.
  
  Storage of dilute solutions of the enzyme conjugate is not recommended.
