Found in the cytosol and nucleus, SERF2 interacts with NELFCD, RBPMS, RHOXF2, QKI and PSME3. Diseases associated with SERF2 include spinal muscular atrophy, gastric cancer, muscular atrophy, ataxia, hepatocellular carcinoma, epithelial neoplasia and liver cancer.
