Description

The PATE (PATE1) gene encodes a prostate and testis expressed protein 1 that in isoform 1 is 126 amino acids long and 14 kDA and in isoform 2 is 114 amino acids long at 12 kDA. The PATE gene has been researched regarding its role in various diseases such as: prostatitis, hemorrhoids, neuronitis, and cholesteatoma.
