Description
OR2T8, also known as Olfactory receptor 2T8, is a 34.7 kDa, 312 amino acid protein that interacts with odor molecules in the nose and activates the perception of smell. Diseases such as neuronitis are currently being studied with the protein. The protein is involved in olfactory signaling, signal transduction, and GPCR downstream signaling pathways with ARRB2, ADRBK2, and GNAL.
