OR2L2, also known as Olfactory receptor 2L2, is a 35.5 kDa, 312 amino acid protein that is involved in reception and transduction of olfactory signals to initiate the perception of smell. Current research is linking the protein to diseases such as neuronitis. The protein interacts in signaling by GPCR and olfactory transduction pathways with proteins such as ARRB2, ADRBK2, and GNAL.
