Description
OR2G2, also known as Olfactory receptor 2G2, is a 35.6 kDa, 317 amino acid protein that is involved in olfactory reception as a member of the G-protein-coupled receptor family. Current research is being conducted to study the effects of the protein on diseases and disorders such as toxoplasmosis and neuronitis. The protein interacts in olfactory signaling, GPCR downstream signaling, and signal transduction pathways with OR52E6, OR1C1, OR6F1, OR2G3, and OR14A16.
