OR2F2, also known as Olfactory receptor 2F2, is a 35.3 kDa, 317 amino acid protein that is involved in reception and transduction of odor signals in order to elicit a perception of smell. Current research is linking this protein to diseases and disorders such as neuronitis, cholesterol, and coronary heart disease. The protein interacts with ARRB2, ADRBK2, and GNAL in pathways such as GPCR and olfactory signal transduction.
