Description
OR1J2, also known as Olfactory receptor 1J2, is a 35.4 kDa, 313 amino acid protein that is utilized in the nose as an olfactory signal receptor and transmitter. Diseases and disorders such as neuronitis and distal arthrogryposis are currently being researched with the protein. The protein interacts with OR4Q3, OR1D2, OR52E6, OR10J5, and OR2T1 in GPCR downstream and olfactory signaling pathways.
