MRPL16, also known as 39 S ribosomal protein L16, mitochondrial, is a 28.4 kDa, 251 amino acid protein that is utilized in mitochondrial ribosome's large subunit. There is no current research linking the protein to any diseases. The protein interacts with MRPL20, MRPL12, MRPL24, ICT1, and MRPL11.
