Description
Nef is a multifunctional protein of 27 kDa in HIV1 and 35 kDa in HIV2. It induces the endocytosis of CD4 Receptor and reduces the MHC1 Receptors. Thereby it enhances viral infectivity and affects T-cell signaling.
