FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) is a glycoprotein produced by the gonadotroph cells in the anterior pituitary gland. FSH acts in regulating the development, growth, pubertal maturation and reproductive processes in both males and females. LH (Luteinizing Hormone) acts synergistically with FSH in regulating female ovulation and male spermatogenesis.
