Description

DGKK, also known as Diacylglycerol kinase kappa, is a 141.8 kDa, 1,271 amino acid protein that is involved in generating phosphatidic acid by adding phosphorus to diacylglycerol. Current research is being conducted to study the protein's effect on the disease hypospadias. The protein interacts in pathways such as the hemostasis, signal transduction, and PIP2 hydrolysis pathways.
