Description

This assay employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with antibody specific for CA50. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells with a Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugated antibody specific for CA50 and incubated. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of CA50 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
