Involved in several processes, including calcineurin-NFAT signaling cascade; peptidyl-serine dephosphorylation; and response to calcium ion. Located in several cellular components, including cytosol; dendritic spine; and nucleoplasm. Part of calcineurin complex. Colocalizes with cytoplasmic side of plasma membrane.
