Novus Knows Gamete Markers
The asymmetric cellular division of meiosis is required for eukaryotic sexual reproduction. Gametes, the haploid cells produced via meiosis, contain all of the genetic information passed from one generation to the next. Therefore, studies on gamete development function and interactions are critical to our understanding of both reproductive biology and genetic evolution. Here, we are highlighting some of our most popular antibodies for gamete markers.

Spotlight on Survivin Regulation via Post Translational Modification
Survivin regulation by p53, Cdc2, PLK1 and Aurora B is critical to the inhibition of apoptosis and cell survival. For instance, phosphorylation at site 20 inhibits survivin, whereas phospho site 34 activates survivin and inhibits apoptosis. Alternatively, acetylation at site 129 negatively affects STAT3 tumor transactivation.

Novus is committed to advancing the understanding of survivin regulation with our innovative line of top quality apoptosis research reagents. Here we are highlighting some of our most popular Survivin antibodies specific for various post translational modification states.
