Description
The MEA-36 immunoglobulin is of Mouse (BALB/c) IgE Kappa isotype and was chosen as an isotype control after screening on a variety of resting, activated, live, and fixed Mouse, Rat and Human tissues. It is useful as a standard in Mouse IgE ELISA. This antibody reacts with Trinitrophenol (TNP) only.

Application Notes
Each lot is QC tested by ELISA and SDS-PAGE to assure its isotype and purity. Purity is > 95%. Use the isotype control at the same concentration as the experimental antibody. Optimal dilution of this antibody should be experimentally determined.

Background

The MEA-36 immunoglobulin reacts with Trinitrophenol (TNP). The isotype of this antibody is mouse (BALB/c) IgE,kappa. This monoclonal antibody was chosen as an isotype control after screening on a variety of resting, activated, live, and fixed mouse, rat and human tissues. It is useful as a standard in mouse IgE ELISA.
