Human, Expected Cross-Reactivity based on immunogen sequence: Cynomolgus, Rhesus.
Applications:
Uses:
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is: 0.5 microgram per one million cells in 100 microliter volume. The purified 5D3-F7 has been tested by blocking fluorochrome conjugated 5D3-F7 for intracellular cytokine staining. In order to obtain complete blocking results, a saturated amount of purified antibody ( le 5.0 ug/million cells) should be used for incubation with target cells, prior to staining with fluorochrome conjugated antibody. Immunohistochemistry-frozen/paraffin. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1) also known as monocyte chemotactic and activating factor (MCAF) was identified based on its ability to chemoattract monocytes. Subsequently, MCP-1 has also been found to regulate adhesion molecule expression and cytokine production in monocytes. MCP-1 is identical to the product of the JE gene, a PDGF inducible gene. MCP-1 is a member of the beta (C-C) chemokine subfamily, known as CCL2. The 5D3-F7 antibody reacts with human monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1).
