Specific antibodies were eluted by acidic buffer at pH 2.5 followed by neutralisation and dialysis. After repeated binding with immobilized bovine immunoglobulines a minimum of 65% protein bound. The purified polyclonal was conjugated to horeseradish peroxidase according to the periodate method followed by gel-filtation and ion-exchange chromatography to clear unbound conjugate. No cross reaction with albumin fraction of bovine serum. No cross reaction with albumin fraction of other animal species. No background was seen on human tissue sections. |
