Background

TRADD (TNF-R1-associated death domain protein) is an adaptor molecule that interacts with the cytoplasmic domain of activated TNF-R1 through its death domain (DD). The DD of TRADD interacts with other DD proteins including FADD and RIP. TRADD is involved in regulating apoptosis and activating the NFkappaB cascade.
