Western Blot: XTP3TPA Antibody [NBP2-76374] - Detection of human DCTPP1 by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 ug) from HEK293T and MCF-7 cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-DCTPP1 antibody NBP2-76374 used for WB at 1:1000. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

Immunoprecipitation: XTP3TPA Antibody [NBP2-76374] - Samples: Whole cell lysate (1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from HEK293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-DCTPP1 antibody NBP2-76374 used for IP at 100 ul per reaction. DCTPP1 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-DCTPP1 antibody NBP2-76375. For blotting immunoprecipitated DCTPP1, NBP2-76374 was used at 1:40. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

Background

DCTPP1 hydrolyzes deoxynucleoside triphosphates (dNTPs) to the corresponding nucleoside monophosphates. Has a strong preference for dCTP and its analogs including 5-iodo-dCTP and 5-methyl-dCTP for which it may even have a higher efficiency. May protect DNA or RNA against the incorporation of these genotoxic nucleotide analogs through their catabolism.
