This detects an epitope on alpha-tubulin between the amino acids 414-422. It has a higher affinity for fixed microtubules (formaldehyde or glutaraldehyde) than native microtubules when performing IHC.

    • I would recommend the Tubulin Antibody (YL1/2) catalog # NB600-506. This antibody works great as a loading control in Western blot and has been validated for use with rat samples.
