Background

Natural LBP is a 58KD glycoprotein produced in liver. It binds at lipid A of LPS with high affinity (10-9M) and reduced the cellular LPS effects at CD14+ cells (IL1Beta, IL6, TNFa). It acts as opsonin for GRAM negative cells, LPS, neutrophiles and granulocytes.

Limitations

This product is for research use only and is not approved for use in humans or in clinical diagnosis. Peptides and proteins are guaranteed for 2 years from date of receipt.
