IL-32 Antibody [Biotin] Summary
This purified antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with full length recombinant human IL-32A protein.
In ELISA and other immunoreactive assays, this antibody will recognize both native and recombinant human IL-32A in cell supernatants and certain body fluids. A control of similarly diluted normal rabbit IgG is recommended.

- Western Blot 1:2000-1:10000
- ELISA 1:20000-1:100000
- Immunohistochemistry 1:1000-1:5000
- Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin 1:10-1:500
This purified antibody has been tested for use in ELISA and western blotting. By western blot a band approximately 15 kDa in size corresponding - native human IL-32alpha protein is expected in the appropriate cell lysate or extract. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.

Alternate Names for IL-32 Antibody [Biotin]
- interleukin 32
- interleukin-32 theta
- natural killer cell transcript 4
- Natural killer cells protein 4
- Tumor necrosis factor alpha-inducing factor
IL-32A (also known as Natural killer cells protein 4, Tumor necrosis factor alpha-inducing factor, IL32a, Interleukin-32 and IL-32 isoform 4) is a member of the cytokine family. IL-32a is a secreted protein selectively expressed in lymphocytes and plays a role in innate and adaptive immune responses. The protein contains a tyrosine sulfation site, 3 potential N-myristoylation sites, multiple putative phosphorylation sites, and an RGD cell-attachment sequence. Expression of this protein is increased after the activation of T-cells by mitogens or the activation of NK cells by IL-2. This protein induces the production of TNFa and IL-8. It induces typical cytokine pathways of NF-kB and p38 MAPK. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.

FAQs for IL-32 Antibody (NBP1-42755). (Showing 1 - 1 of 1 FAQ).
We would like to detect Human IL-32 gamma isoform. Could you let us know if this antibody can detect IL-32 gamma isoform?
- NBP1-42755 was raised against a full-length recombinant IL32 protein, which represents the gamma isoform (the other IL32 isoforms are missing amino acids as compared to the gamma). This antibody will recognize the gamma isoform, but because it has not been epitope map I do not know whether it will detect the other isoforms as well.
