Reconstitution Instructions
Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in water to 0.1 - 1.0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers containing a carrier protein (0.1% BSA) and stored in working aliquots at -20C to -80C for long-term storage.

Background

Recombinant Human Erythropoietin-alpha produced in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells by recombinant DNA technology is a single, polypeptide chain containing 165 amino acids and having a predicted molecular mass of 21 kDa and apparent glycosylated molecular mass of 30.4 kDa. EPO-alpha is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
