Recombinant Mouse CCL11/Eotaxin Protein Summary
Recombinant bioactive protein containing 74 amino acids for Mouse CCL11/Eotaxin
Amino Acid Sequence:(P48298)
Determined to be >98% pure by SDS-PAGE
|Details of Functionality
The recombinant murine eotaxin was found to induce chemotaxis of purified eosinophils at concentrations ranging between 100 to 1000 ng/ml.
| Protein/Peptide Type
>95%, by SDS-PAGE
Disclaimer note: The observed molecular weight of the protein may vary from the listed predicted molecular weight due to post translational modifications, post translation cleavages, relative charges, and other experimental factors.
Packaging, Storage & Formulations
Store at -20 to -80C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Sterile filtered and then lyophilized with no additives. The protein may appear as a haze or film that is difficult to see at the bottom of the vial.
>95%, by SDS-PAGE
Reconstitute in H2O to a concentration of 0.1-1 ug/ul. It is recommended that further dilutions be made into buffer containing carrier protein or medium containing serum.
Alternate Names for Recombinant Mouse CCL11/Eotaxin Protein
- C-C motif chemokine 11
- chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 11
- Eosinophil chemotactic protein
- SCYA11Small-inducible cytokine A11

Murine eotaxin shares many of the biological and physical characteristics of human eotaxin. The chemokine exhibits a high chemotactic selectivity for eosinophils and belongs to the C-C family of chemokines, along with chemokines such as RANTES, MCP-3, and MIP-1alpha. Murine eotaxin is an 8.4 kDa protein containing 74 amino acid residues.
