Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by Western blotting. Western blotting, suggested working dilution(s): Use 5 mug antibody per 5 ml antibody dilution buffer for each mini-gel. For immunofluorescence microscopy: Use a dilution range of 1-4 mug/ml. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. Immunoprecipitation reactivity per customer review.

Alternate Names for Acetylated Lysine Antibody (15G10)
Proteins are reversibly and dynamically acetylated on the epsilon-amino group of lysine by acetyltransferases and deacetylated by deacetylases. This post-translational modification can regulate protein function (interactions with other proteins and DNA binding). Histones and transcription factors (PCAF, p53, p300, etc) appear to be the major targets of acetytransferases. Acetylation is usually associated with chromatin remodeling and transcriptional activation, although in some cases (telomeres) it is associated with gene silencing. The 15G10 antibody recognizes acetylated lysine residues on proteins.

FAQs for Acetylated Lysine Antibody (NB100-78428). (Showing 1 - 1 of 1 FAQ).
For Acetylated Lysine Antibody, NB100-78428, can you please provide the exact dilution on this format like 1:50...1:500 etc ? Also, is it possible to use a DAB based chromogen with it rather than fluorescence?
Acetylated Lysine antibody (15G10) [NB100-78428] was provided at concentration of 0.5 mg/ml, therefore, its dilutions may also be expressed as: Western Blot 1 ug/ml = 1:500; Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence 1-4 ug/ml = 1:125 - 1:500. Yes, the detection may be performed via DAB method also provided the customer use a HRP- labelled anti-Mouse IgG secondary antibody or an appropriate anti-Mouse Detection kit for the post primary analysis.
