Anti-6X His is optimally suited for monitoring expression of His-tagged fusion proteins. As such, anti-6X His/6X His can be used - identify fusion proteins containing the 6X His epitope. The antibody recognizes the His tag fused either - the amino- or carboxy- termini of targeted proteins. This antibody has been tested by ELISA and western blotting against both the immunizing peptide and His-containing recombinant proteins. Although not tested, this antibody is likely functional for immunoprecipitation and immunocytochemistry.

What is the time of incubation for 6-histidine epitope tag antibody (HRP)?
I am not sure what application you are asking about, as NBP1-42785 is guaranteed for use in both Western blot and IHC on paraffin-embedded tissues. Generally we recommend overnight at 4 degrees C for both Western and IHC. As this is an antibody to simply a His-tag, you can probably get away with incubating for an hour or two at room temperature as well.
Epitope Tagging: From His to OLLAS Epitope tagging is a procedure that inserts a short amino acid sequence into a protein within an expression vector via genetic engineering. Antibodies that recognize the tag can then be used to detect the protein when no antibody to the target protein... Read full blog post.
Epitope Tags and the V5 Tag Antibody We at Novus Biologicals have a large antibody catalog targeted to epitope tags. They include C-Myc, GFP, HA, DYKDDDDK, and V5 Tag antibody reagents. The V5 tag antibody recognizes the artificially engineered V5 epitope, which is formed of amino acid r... Read full blog post.
