Zenker’s Necrosis occurs in major infections and is a hyaline degeneration of voluntary muscles. Zenker’s Necrosis is most often associated with Typhoid Fever but with many other infections as well. Other names for Zenker’s Necrosis are Zenker’s Degeneration and waxy degeneration.
